Dan,
after just one trip to Turkey Run in the late '90s, he successfully
made near TR legend status with a series of antics at TR 1999.
After a 4 year absence from Turkey Run, everyone wasin HIGH anticipation
of his triumphant return in 2004! Amidst this great anticipation,
Dan answered the call by holding a press conference in the Spring
of 2004 to officially announce his return to TR. In 2006, Dan
was at the center of a dispute that nearly resulted in the second
official demerit in TR history. Opinions were mixed on the matter
- but after careful considerations, the Founding Members refrained
from issuing the demerit. After 3 consecutive years in attendance
in the mid 2000's, Dan parted ways with TR in what most would
agree was an unfortunate set of circumstances.
None
the less, despite his near-demerit in 2006, Dan has always been
a fine representation of the Tenets
of Turkey Run. His Legend will most definitely live on in
a positive light and perhaps one day in the future, he will return
to the grills of Turkey Run.

1999
- Nearly loses his life 3 times: Almost fell off a cliff, nearly
goes unconcious as he tried to beat Scott's winning time for holding
your breath under water, and almost chokes to death attmepting
to eat 2 twinkies under a minute.
The
most memorable moment of TR '99 and the biggest scare in TR history,
Dan Fash breathes a tremendous sigh of relief after he nearly
loses his life. If not for the grip of his wife-beater, we may
not have him with us today. Lets all take a moment and thank the
powers above for our good fortune not only in that instance, but
for every year at Turkey Run.
2004 - Amidst the great anticipation of his return to Turkey
Run after a 4 year absence, he conducted an over-the-phone press
conference to announce his confirmation of attendance.
