As
we all know, cevapcici, the tasty Serbian sausages served in mass
quantities at Tukey Run come from this fine deli on Lawrence Ave.
in Chicago as featured in the opening segment of the "Fire
& Ice Extravaganza" documentary . Each year on the eve
of Turkey Run, a small group makes the trip to pick up the weekend's
inevitable "record order".
Supplying
the weekend's cevapcici became the responsibility of the younger
generation in 2001 when Scott, CR, & Krangis were left to
their own devices unsure of what to expect from the "Serb
Fest crowd" they were hoping to meet at TR. Until TR 01,
Mr. Z had always provided as much cevapcici as any of us could
have ever dreamed of. Since 2001, our group's annual order has
increased each year.

and diced onion. Perhaps ripping into a loaf of authentic Serbian
bread strikes a chord with you. In any fashion, we thought it would
be appropriate to award the individual who displays the most impressive

ever recipient of this award. Vince Kus captured the comsumption
award in 2004 for his performance of consuming over 20 civaps in
on sitting. |
