:: Shopping Assignments to be Distributed Shortly
As
the logistics of our annual festivities continue to evolve - let
me unveil this year's "strategy" for the providing of
food & supplies to TR this year.
As
many of you know, since TR 2001, Scott & Jovan have primarily
been responsible for providing and transporting most of the food,
beverage, and supplies to TR. As we no longer have a single point
of departure - and in fact, now have multiple points of departure
with as many as 8 vehicles making the trip this year - we felt
it was appropriate to delegate some of the shopping responsibilities
to all attendees.
The
primary duty that will be equally divided is the providing of
beer. We're looking to bring upwards of 28 cases of beer this
year. We'll be doing some "research" to ensure that
EVERY attendee will have the assignment of providing an equal
monetary amount of beverages. With lodging & gas no longer
being a part of the annual "dues" that are dividing
amongst attendees at the end of the weekend, we're hoping to now
eliminate alcohol, pop, and water as well. The extent of what
will be split at the end of the weekend will now be meat, vegetables,
chips, bread, etc. as well as cooking and eating supplies. Much
of the food and supplies will likely be the responsibility of
the Founding Members and select Councilmen.
A
final list of shopping responsibilities will be distributed via
email and will be posted as an amendment to this news article
shortly.
